Legal 1 - Graduate Lawyer                               (Salary range: $71,499 - $81,222 pa)

Legal 2 - Lawyer                                               (Salary range: $85,112 - $97,238 pa)

Legal 3 - Experienced Lawyer (Superviser)   (Salary range: $103,405 - $120,690 pa)

Legal 4 - Senior Lawyer (Manager)                 (Salary range: $126,067 - $147,459 pa)

Legal Aid ACT is seeking suitably qualified persons to fill lawyer vacancies in our Litigation Practice (Criminal and Family) and our General Practice. The successful applicants will be required to work in a team of lawyers and support staff. The role requires you to conduct an effective legal aid service providing high volume and intensive case management to disadvantaged and vulnerable clients.

Lawyers will undertake a range of work by providing information and advice, community legal education and client representation.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility to hold a restricted Practicing Certificate in the ACT is required - please review the relevant Position Description for additional information on preferred post admission experience.
