For nearly two decades, Legal Aid ACT and the Australian National University (ANU) work in partnership to deliver the Youth Law Clinic program.
Participants attend the Youth Law Centre for 10 weeks as part of their placement.
Through the placement, students:
- get hands-on experience working with lawyers and their client matters
- get exposure to different practice areas across Legal Aid ACT
- undertake research on justice and advocacy issues relevant to young people.
Who can apply
Placements are available to undergraduate and postgraduate students studying law at the ANU.
See the ANU Course programs for full course information and prerequisites.
